ABOUT ME

HI! Im Alex, and I love photographing people. My style is natural and relaxed. I’m passionate about capturing the perfect light and that magical split second moment that can be enjoyed forever. I combine my experience of editorial photography with my love for documentary and photojournalism to give you a timeless set of images of your special wedding day.

My passion has always been photography and visual communication since studying photography at university. I went on to become a commissioning Picture Editor, Shoot Producer and Art Director for Editorial Magazines, including - the Mail on Sunday’s YOU Magazine. With over 10 years experience in the media industry I have worked with world class photographers, fashion stylist, writers and with some of the biggest celebrities of our time to create world class imagery.

I have always enjoyed documenting people, and capturing candid moments between people. I began taking shots at parties and went on to document Darren Barker at his world title boxing fight in the United States. The more I worked with photographers in my picture editing role the more I wanted to take the pictures myself.

So I turned my hand to wedding and family photography. Using mostly natural light to capture relaxed and vibrant shots and developing a distinctively classic, luxurious and creative style where my experience shines through. You can be free to enjoy your day knowing that it is safe in my hands.

After living in Singapore for several years, I moved with my husband to Hitchin in Hertfordshire, just outside of London. We now have two little people, an amazing little girl who is now two and half and a five month old boy. If I have any spare time I love running, wine, my garden and being outside.

I am available to shoot across the UK but I also love to travel for destination weddings and commissions abroad.
