Engagement Shoots

Engagement shoots are a great way to get used to being in front of the camera together as a couple. You get to spend some relaxed time together and I capture you as your are naturally. I promise not to make you say Cheese! You’ll feel a bit more at ease in front of me and my camera as well as being able to get to know each other better.

It can feel nerve racking on your wedding day to stand there together not knowing what to do or how to stand. SO getting some practise in before the big day can really help!

I always suggest finding a location that special to you as a couple. It could be in the grounds of the wedding venue or it could be where you got engaged. It could even be somewhere you go together regularly that’s special to you as a couple. Or it could just be somewhere that is local to you and create a nice colourful backdrop to some relaxed romantic photographs.

Im based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire but I travel all over Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire to wedding photography.

The shoot below was shot at Madingly hall with Emma and Ryan. They are getting married there in a few months time so thought it was the perfect way to get some really relaxed lovely images. It also gave us the opportunity to look at where we might shoot the wedding day couples portraits.

If your interested in adding a pre-wedding shoot to your wedding photography package, or choose a stand-alone couple shoot for a special anniversary, get in touch and we can start arranging.
